Directions to Villa Acalmar from Faro Airport
The car hire terminals are situated outside the main Terminal building. Having collected your bags and passed through customs exit the main Terminal building via the right hand exit. You will then see the car hire Terminals to your left.

If you have flown with GO Airlines and have rented your car through Holiday Autos, you may find that there is a large queue at the National / Alamo car hire terminal. You may find it quicker to have some of your party collect your luggage from Baggage Reclaim while others in your party collect your car(s).

After collecting your car from the car hire terminals turn left out of the car park. Follow the signs for the Airport exit and then for "N125, Faro and IP1". You will notice that the major car hire return centres are situated along this stretch of road on your left. Proceed for 3km and pass over the flyover bridge. Immediately on the other side of the flyover take the right exit sign posted for Portimao, Lisbon and Loule.

After 5km's exit right sign posted Almancil, proceed for a further 3.7kms and again exit right signposted Almancil. Once in Almancil go straight over at the traffic lights in the centre of the town, proceed up the hill and then turn left, sign posted "Quarteira". This is a large blue sign with many place names. Continue along this road for a further 7kms. Just past the main Quarteira town sign turn left sign posted "Praia Do Almargem" (Beach of Almargem). There is a new area sign for "Almargem" now at the entrance of this road.

Villa Acalmar is situated on your right 1km from the main road.

The total distance from Faro Airport is 20kms and traffic permitting is only 20 minutes by car.
